The game (intended or not) is compatible with hundreds of controllers, if paired with JoyToKey. The entire game can be played on an UltraRacer 64 controller.
fun game, but in desperate need of optimization. the game stutters in accordance to the amount of scales on the fish being loaded; a cod is already a solid second. would like to see improvement in the scaling menu. great game though, very cozy; happy to see it develop further.
id also like to be able to throw out fish; at some point you really dont want to spend time on sardines. also please move the camera such that the hook is centered higher on the screen
Nice game, the fishing portion was a bit confusing to maneuver, but it eventually didn't matter much once I upgraded everything (which was pretty quick).
The game also kept freezing a bit once I'd gotten the bigger fishes (basically anything from bluefin tuna and beyond, sometimes cod). To be fair, I was also playing on the web browser version.
Because of the "View all by Serpxnessie", "follow Serpexnessie" "Add To Collection", "Rate This Game", "Submission to GMTK Game Jan 2024" and "Related games" buttons i cant go to the next fish so i agree.

great game, poor game almost crashed everytime i got a big fish to scale. so much fun so simple

There's a bug where I got softlocked after I reached the meat limit, I can't feed a 14 sea turtle
It's possibly because I kept scaling fish after reaching the meat limit, and when I reopen the game I can't even move.
love it so fun to play whil there also be a mac download in the future?

the game is good but
the massive lag spike when you click next fish
the amount of scales on the tuna and sunfish is too much (it hurts my eyes)
